The Cumbria League. 4 meetings per year are held at Whitehaven or Carlisle. Entries are prepaid by the club and athletes can compete in 3 track or field events (plus a relay if selected). Athletes score points for the club and medals are presented at the final meeting for the top three athletes in each event.* For U11’s and above.
Open Meetings including the County Championships in May. These take place both in and out of Cumbria. Age Groups and entry fees vary but can include U9’s upwards.
Cross Country and Fell Running – A variety of races take place both in and out of county
Saturday July 19th Cumbria League athletics at Copeland Athletic Stadium, Whitehaven 12 noon.
Wednesday August 6th Elbra 10K road race. Starts from Netherhall Rugby Club, 7pm start.
Saturday September 13th. Inter Counties Athletics Competition at the Sheepmount, Carlisle.
